Eco-friendly.
We have found an 8 oz weight 55/45 hemp cotton fabric that is affordable and functional. It is soft, for hemp fabric ,and the more you wash it, the softer it gets.
So Why Hemp…..
Hemp produces more pulp per acre than timber on a sustainable basis, and can be used for every quality of paper. Hemp reduces the need for acids used in pulping, and it's creamy color lends itself to environmentally friendly bleaching instead of harsh chlorine compounds. Less bleaching results in less dioxins and fewer chemical byproducts.
So we use less toxic chemicals on the earth to grow hemp, we don't bleach hemp or use Eco-friendly non-chlorine based bleaching agents, and is out lasts cotton.
In addition to the environmental factors with hemp we also like to point tout that hemp is naturally mildew resistant and will outlast other cloth diapers.
